So if you had this in your portal:
Apple | Fruit | Pomme
Apricot | Fruit | Drupe
Broccoli | Vegetable | Flower
And you click the 2nd row, you want to see Apricot entered in to field 1 and Fruit entered in to field 2 and Drupe entered into field 3?
If so, then you can enter layout mode and select all three portal fields. Then select button setup and specify that it perform this script:
Set Field [LayoutsTable::Field1 ; PortalsTable::Field1]
Set Field [LayoutsTable::Field2 : POrtalsTable::field2]
Set Field [LayoutsTable::Field3 ; PortalsTable::Field3]
You'll need to use your table and field names in place of mine.
This assumes that copying the data like this is a good idea. Often what you really want to do is copy the portal record's primary key to a field so that a relationship can be used to display data from the portal table.
