Title

Open URL function

Post

I want to use the Open URL function but I need to edit the url that is stored in the field.

Here's an example:

ThesisURL field contains http://hdl.handle.net/1721.1/28931

I need to replace http://hdl.handle.net/ with http://dspace.mit.edu/bitstream/handle/ so string should now look like this: http://dspace.mit.edu/bitstream/handle/1721.1/28931

I also need to add "/" + GetAsText ( OCLC ) + "-MIT.pdf". In this case OCLC is a numeric field equal to 60525439.

The final URL string should look like this:

http://dspace.mit.edu/bitstream/handle/1721.1/28931/60525439-MIT.pdf

I tried using the Substitute function for the first part and that worked but when I try to add on the additional information (OCLC & -MIT.pdf) it fails.
