outside users able to see all records
When students complete our online application, they are able to click on the arrow in the top left corner of the page and see all the records. How can we hide the arrow?
Does this link open a Database published with Instant Web Publishing?
The only arrows I see are the browser's back and forward arrows. Are these the arrows to which you are referring?
look just to the left of the stars on our logo
Yep, I just did that. That part of the system is known as the status area. You can write a script that both hides and locks the status area. By locking the status area, your users will no longer have access to this part of the layout.
Set this script to run when the file is opened:
Show/Hide Status Area [Lock; Hide]
A more sophisticated version of this script can be created that only does this for web users or only those who don't have a specific account name or privilege set.
I think that it is better if you delete the link from your post.
I was able to see ALL the information of ALL your students.
You need to hide and look the status bar.
We were missing the lock part! You are awesome!
