did you try adjusting the margins? make them match the specs on the label box, if there isn't a preset in for it in the new layout dialog.
The names are printing o.k. on the labels. It's when it reaches the bottom of
page 1 on the 8 1/2 x 11 page size, it moves ahead a few inches before starting to print again, putting the printing
off the label. On the older Filemaker Pro 3, there was a field to check "No gaps in between pages", which I kind of think
is the problem. But I don't see that feature on File Maker Pro 10. Maybe an older version will have that feature.
I set the top and bottom margins to 0 (zero) hoping it would jump right down to the next page without making a space, but no luck.
Thanks for your input
can you post the label type i.e. the code of the labels as appears on the box?
Maybe this information will help find a solution.
When I click page setup, I drag down to custom page set up.
I plut in 0 on top and bottom margins and 8 1/2 x 12 on size, because 12 labels can get on a label page, but 8 1/2 x 11 size only allows 10 labels to print on a page. When I assign a name to the custom size page layout, go back to print, and try to drag down to the name I have assigned, it is grayed out. The name is there, but the only choices I have is 8 1/2 x 11, legal, A4 or U.S. Fanfold.
Has any one had success printing from filemaker pro 9 to an okidata through an HP jetdirect or usb?
Does your layout have a header and footer or just a Body?
