Parsing Checkbox Selected Values to Use in a Scripted Search

      Post

As of yet I've been unable to find a discreet example of how one would go about parsing and then using carriage return delimited values previously selected by a user in a checkbox with multiple boxes (see attached image).  I want to create a script that checks to see which, if any, checkboxes have been selected for inclusion in the Book Defects Report, perform appropriate logic to include said checkbox field data in the found set, then put together and present the report.

I am guessing that the script would include a host of 'If' 'then' 'else' statements, possibly placed inside a loop, to parse out the checkbox values in some way while initiating 'Find' and 'New Request' script steps to perform 'Or' types of searches.

What would such a script look like?  If I have overlooked a previous forum post that deals with this please point me to it.

           Thanks in advance.
