PC and Mac display same layout differently

      Post

We have a multiplatform office. Several of our layouts display and print differently depending on whether it's on a PC or Mac - any ideas to resolve this?

Usually this is because text on a windows system requires a few more pixels in both horizontal and vertical directions than does the Mac. This results in text that is clipped or wraps to a second line on some layouts when the layout is designed on a mac and then opened on a windows box. The reverse is not true, so one way to avoid this issue is to design the layouts on a windows machine instead of the mac.

To fix your existing layouts, open them on a windows machine and adjust the width/heigh of your layout objects and then re-open them on a mac to check.
