Title

Peer-to-Peer problem: FM Go new data not appearing on FM Pro Host computer

Post

According to FM documentation, when a Host (MacBook Air running FM Pro 12) and Client (iPhone 5 using FM Go) are sharing a database on the same local network, changes made on either side will automatically update on the other.

New data entered on the Host (MBA) appears on the iPhone...eventually...sometimes, it requires closing the file on both ends to trigger the update...sometimes, it takes more than one try.

When new data is entered into FM Go on the Client (iPhone), however, it never appears on the Host. Doesn't seem to matter what is opened, closed, reopened, reclosed, quit, or anything else. I simply cannot get updated field data or new records created on the Client to show up on the Host.

I can access the shared file in the local network. Just can't figure out how to get new data on the iPhone to appear on the Host using peer-to-peer networking.

FM Go 12.0.8 (iPhone 5 running iOS 7.1.1)
