      Per Page Subtotal

      Post

I'm creating a multi-page report that needs a per page subtotal in the footer of every page.

I've tried a few things, last of which, was to set a field on each record with get(pagenumber) and then create a relationship to use in a sum calculation, but FM will only set the first or last records when in Preview mode.  Then I tried to determine the number of records that appear on each page, so I could then go through the records and mark each one with the page number, but my attempts at that aren't working either.

      Any other ideas?

I'm using FM11 Advanced, mac and pc.

      Thanks!

Do any of your fields slide/resize the enclosing part? If so, then I have yet to see a solution that I can get to work for this. If every record uses the same amount of vertical space, then you can do this by counting the number of records per page--which can become the basis for one of several approaches you can use to get that page total.
