      Perform an 'Or' find

      Post

Hi this is probably one of those things that is either very easy or impossible.

How do I perform an 'Or' find.

So find names with 'Smith' OR 'Parker' in 1 search. Thanks.

Go to Find, type Smith in name, New Record/Request, type Parker in name, perform find

This will find both Smith and Parker

Thank you I didn't realise you could do this. Problem sovled straight away. I now have a 5 step process of adding requests but I am having trouble putting this into a single script. I have tried using the Extend Found Set function but this doesn't allow me to specify multiple searches in the same field. If i use the Extend Found Set function again after that it seems to reset the Find and not work. Any ideas?

            Thanks.

              Enter Find mode[]
Set field // enter your first set of criteria
              New Record/Request
Set Field // enter your second set
              new Record/Request
Set Field // enter your third
              New Record/Request
//...and so on to get 5 requests
              Set Error Capture [on]
              Perform Find []

This is the scripted version of what David described in his post.
