      Perform find based on a field in a related table

      Post

      It seems to me that the perform find is limited to the current open table.

      Is thta correct or am I doing something wrong?

      I have a customer service table(cserv) with a field called service. This field is classified into diefferent categories using another table (servcat) which has amongst other to fields service and category.

      I related the table cserv to servcat with cserv::service=servcat::service

      and I wrote the script step perform find cserv::service="teaching" and servcat::category ="Math"

      the result was none found

      I split this to two steps and used the debugger

      step 1  perform find cserv::service="teaching"                   I got 22 records

      step2   constrain found set   servcat::category ="Math"      I got zero found

      Can any body shed some light on this.
