Title

performing a find on a one of two related table without affeting the other

Post

I have a customer table linked to orders table by customer number. I want to produce a report Listing all customers living in a certain zipcode who did not buy since a cretain date. BUT the problem is, that I want to include customers who never bohght. So if I perform find like this

customer::zip= $zip and order::date < $date

I will not be able to include customers who have no corresponding records in the order table.

I tried to add erder::date=      hoping that it will also give me the customers with no orders, but it did not work.

I also tried to perform find on the order table  order::date >$date and then go to customer and list all but it ignored the find performed on the order table.

Any ideas?
