Poor Quality Images in Container Field...

     using FileMaker 12 Pro Advanced:

     We have a lot of line drawings within container fields in my client's database. On my Mac, at any zoom setting, the images look fine. On my client's machines, running PC's and Windows 7, the images look bad, and some of the lines in the drawings are dropping out entirely.

     I'm experimenting with PNG, transparent PNG and JPG formats.

     Is this a Mac/PC issue?

     I've read on the forums somewhere that, importing a folder of images places ONLY a thumbnail image within the container, not full-res. Is that true?

     Would the quality be better if we were using only a "reference" to the images instead of embedding them?
