Portal row button and GTRR not working like I thought...
I am having a brain fart. I am sure that I have used this technique before (although I can't find an example of it in my files...) but now it doesn't seem to be working.
I have a portal with rows showing related records. Base layout table is Items; portal is an Items TO. I put a button in the portal row and hooked it to a script that calls "Go To Related Record". I am trying to show the Detail layout for that record. But I am getting the same record (the first in the found set) for each row, instead of the individual rows' record.
No, the button is not outside the row. (If it were, it wouldn't repeat on each row...would it?) Here's a screen cap showing the layouts. The gray-rounded-corner area is the button. Text field inside is showing the title for each record, and that works. I checked the Inspector window and the button dimensions appear to fall within the portal row.
Do I just have to do a Set variable, find mode, set field, perform find routine?
Keep the abuse to a minimum. :)
