    Portals with Get(RecordNumber)

      Portals with Get(RecordNumber)

I've noticed that if I use Get(RecordNumber) in a portal it will track the record (1,2,3,4,5,6,7)

BUT if I put a button in, or use conditional formatting, and I want it to change colors or make the button "appear" on the first record in the portal say, or maybe even the sixth, Get(RecordNumber) in conditional formatting will always show the WINDOW record number, not the associated portal row record number.  Is this a glitch?  I can accomplish what I want by making a calc field with Get(RecordNumber) it just seems kind of silly that I have to do this.

      Am I missing something?

          Hai Peter,

I have the same problem. I need the RecordNumber or the RecordID form the portal records to show or hide icons. When using the "Get" function, I get the RecordNumber or RecordID from the main record. So, this problem you wil have in conditional formatting as well as in "hiding" fields.

          Found any solution already?
