Is there a way to set up a script that will run after a certain amount of time has elapsed? An example would be for my invoice solution database to automatically print out a customer statement if their account has not been settled after the payment terms has elapsed....

You can set up a script to run once a day to find all such records. That might be a script set to run the first time you open the file via a setting in file options or if you leave the file open 24/7, you might use Install OnTImer Script. An OS based scheduler like windows scheduled tasks could also open a "robot file" on schedule and it can perform the script in your main file each time that it is opened by your OS based scheduling utility.
