Print Sliding Issue using Pro 9 Advanced

      Post

      Hi All

I have used the ready made Filemaker Business Productivity Solution Module for my new small business, Contacts, Inventory and Sales Orders.

The problem is with the Sliding Printing -  when printing a Sales Invoice from the Sales Orders programme, the Bill To section is not responding to sliding print and leaving a gap, (when bill to state has no entry, bill to postcode is not sliding up).

The Ship To section is responding and working just fine, just how it is supposed to.

Been through the Bill To section programme many times and cannot find any reason why this does not work.

Any ideas would be greatly received.

Did you check 'Also reduce size of enclosing part'?

Are there any other objects (a line for example) below the text box which do not slide?

            Hi jensteich

            Thank you for your input,

I am new to Filemaker and find it a new learning curve from MS Access, wish I found this programme before-

As to the problem in question -

I did check 'Also reduce size of enclosing part'

After going over the same promlems again, with what you said

I found that a 'space' had been put in after and at the end of the line -

            <<Sales Orders::Bill To State>>

This stoped the print sliding working

After removing this 'space', now works as supposed to.

Trouble is you cannot see a 'space' in layout mode in a block of text....

            Food for thought!!!

            Really getting into Filemaker Now
