What OS are your using?
Do you have a default printer specified?
You can see if a script that runs printer setup and selects a printer will work. Such can be set to run automatically when the file is opened.
The OS is Windows 7 Enterprise.
There is a default printer specified.
It seems inconvenient to write a script to fix this problem. Why is the print to file box checked anyway? I haven't printed to a file in about 15 years. And why doesn't it change when I uncheck the box? We have about six users and they all have the same issue.
I have no idea why it is checked. I don't have that issue here with FileMaker 10, 11 or 12. On my windows 7 systems.
