Title

Printing 2 or multiple records on a single page in a layout, not a table

Post

I am trying to create a file that will let me print 2 records on one page. It will be used to create table place cards for use with photo booths at weddings. The paper is 4x6 per printed page and the printer cuts it to 2x6 for photo strips. My goal is to import a spreadsheet with guest names, table numbers, etc and create one 2x6 strip per name.

I can do this using a custom Avery Label layout for a generic place card that has static information.

There's no way I can see to make this happen with unique data per strip. I only know how to make it work with both strips having the same data, but that creates duplicates and wastes paper.

In many ways, it feels like mail-merge with Word and a custom page but I want to manage it as a database.

     Any suggestions are appreciated.

     Thanks!
