Printing product labels from a purchase order

Printing product labels from a purchase order

Is it possible to print varying numbers of product labels based on a purchase order? I need to print product labels on Avery 5160 for specific orders of multiple products. But there are varying amounts of each product. For example I need 10 labels for Product a, 3 labels for product b, 2 labels for product c, etc. The products get stickered as the orders come in specifically for that order. The database contains all the pertinet info including the number of units ordered. Thanks for any pointers.

You'll need to add a labels table that is linked by productID back to your products table (or a link to lineitems might work also).

You can use a script to pull up your list of products and then use a loop to create the specified number of records with each product ID in the labels table. Use the relationship back to products to access the data you want to print on the label such as the product name and Product ID.
