Printing to a Dymo LabelWriter 450

Printing to a Dymo LabelWriter 450

Hope someone can help! Only the second time I've used the forum as I'm new to Filemaker.

It seems that a lot of people are having similar problems printing to a single label on a Dymo. I've set up a new layout as suggested by the 'Filemaker Pro Help' to the size label that I need but a 'warning box' told me that the label was too long to print. I fiddled around with the Layout Set Up/Printing and took off the 'columns' option, then reduced the 'header' in the layout to a zero measurement. The 'body' is bigger than address field and the label printed out which was great... but I get a blank label as well as the one I want to print out!

I would appreciate any suggestions please! Tim

I'm not familiar with the Dymo printing, but if you are getting an extra blank "page" (label in your case), have a really close look at where the bottom of the "body" border is on that layout. I had a similar issue and it was that my "body" was just a tad too far up the layout; moved it down a bit and no more extra page :)
