Does the font/formatting in the PDF change just when you print the PDF or is it also changed if you just open and view the PDF?
Is this a windows system?
I've seen cases where a Windows printer driver was configured to substitute fonts and that might be the case here.
Yes it changes when we print to PDF. We've tried on on 3 different machines here and they all have the same problem.
We are running on Windows 7.
How would I check if it is using the Windows printer driver? What should it be changed to?
"Print to PDF" is a phrase used to describe creating the PDF. If you open the PDF on your computer and it is correct until you use your printer to print out the hard copy, then there is some issue with your printer as printing from the PDF reader software and FileMaker are giving you identical results, but the PDF and the database preview correctly.
You may need to contact the printer manufacturer's technical support to resolve this. If you identify the printer you are using a fellow forum user that has the same printer might be able to suggest a more detailed suggestion.
Print to PDF does NOT show correctly either.
Not sure what is going on...
What version of Filemaker are you using?
Are you using Save As PDF... or are you using a utility that "prints" a PDF?
