Take a look at this thread: Found Sets to PDF with unique file names
If you have any questions after reading that thread, feel free to post them here--not in that thread as it might not pop up into recent items where I'll see it like this thread will.
Thank you for the quick response - I have create a script exactly as shown:
Set Variable [ $Path; Value:"file:" & Get ( DesktopPath) & DESKTOP PROGRAM::Main Menu Quote # & ".pdf"
Save Records as PDF ["Restore; no dialog ; "$Path"" ; Records being browsed]
when I run it I get:
"Restore; no dialog; "$path$" could not be created on theis disk. :(
You don't have Save Records as PDF set up correctly.
Don't enter the text "Restore;" anywhere. This text will appear automatically when you are done specifying the parameters for this script step.
Enter $Path without quotes after clicking the specify output file button. The other options, such as either Records being browsed or Current Record are specified after clicking "Specify options".
Thank you, thank you :) My client is extremely happy that this is now working like a charm.
Unforunately - I thought I was done but he gave me another head scratcher which I will open a new post for .
Thank you again, I definitely appreciate it.
