Title

Probably a simple question for finding matches in records

Post

I am working with am "inventory starter solution database".  In most or any of my fields I can find matches by clicking "find" in the top address bar and then typing in any given field either the exact match i want it to find or perhaps the first few letters of what I want (in case I can't quite remember the exact match).  However below the picture holder on the right of the page there is a field called Inventory ID.  When I try and find a match in this field I need to put in the exact number (like SG-22).  I can not just type in "S" to see any of my inventory numbers that start with "S".  It will reject the search and say "no records match this item".  Is there a way that I can program this so that it finds any items that start with "S"?  It is set up now so that I have to know the exact number....!

thanks gang!
