After you perform the first find, enter find mode, specify your criteria and then use Constrain Found Set instead of Perform Find. This works for manual and scripted finds.
In fact, this is one way to speed up finds performed on large data sets where one or more of the search fields is unindexed. You can perform find 1 on all indexed fields, then specify criteria in any unindexed fields in find 2.
I have similar question about constrain find.
After my first find, I right click a data to perform a constrain find.
But now, I need to perform a constrain find with 2 information in same field.
For example, I performed a first find on last name for "Smith", and I want to perform a constrain find on State for "CA" & "WA" ; in this case, how do I do it?
Morever, is it possible to perform a constrain find in 2 different field?
Anyone could answer my question?
