Question 3 of 3 concerning Summary Reports - Selectively exposing details

Post

The last question may not be doable.     In my Summary Reports, that do not have a detail body subsection, I need a way to click on a row in the summary and call out to a layout/script that will show the underlying details for that row only.   Example

USA             100

  Alabama        20

  Florida           30

  Texas            25

  California        25

I want to click on a button on a row (say Florida) and have a new layouts show the details behind the USA-Florida count, and then return to the summary report.    It would be great if I could use the + and - buttons that people are use to using for expanding and collapsing file structures in a library.  But I don't even have a clue where to start thinking about that.
