Question re: finding a stylized text

Question re: finding a stylized text

We use unicode characters in Arial font for symbols such as alpha, gamma, zeta as well as some superscripted characters.  When pushing these characters to a MySQL web backend, the unicode comes across OK, but there's no comparable character for a superscripted d or k.  Is there some easy way to do a find to locate a superscripted character and maybe replace it with an html tagged character?

ie: find occurences of a superscript d and replace with d

      Any help would be wonderful!
