Quick question on understanding bottom margin for printing
In the layout mode, is the green page area is showing the margin area? Or is it the rope, or the white area just before the green begins that signifies this?
The layout in question is an 8.5x11 page. I want the field I've placed in my footer area to print at 1/4" from the bottom of the page. I can't get it to do that. It's either prints too high (over 1/2", or doesn't print at all).
How can I lower this? I've reset the Layout Setup>bottom margin to various settings: .56", .25", .40", etc. I've tried lowering/raising the rope area, white area, moved the footer field lower, higher... all sorts of maneuvers, but either the footer prints at 1/2" or not at all.
My Page Setup/Page margins are set on my Laserjet to .25 all around (but they are also being ignored). Thanks.
