Replace Field Contents--either selected from the records menu or as a step in a script can modify a field for an entire found set of records.
You can perform a find for all the records where you want to clear or change the value of your radio button field and the do the Replace Field Contents.
Since this can change the value of huge numbers of records and cannot be undone, it is wise to make a back up copy of your file before attempting to use this feature for the first time.
Thanks, but I'm not sure this is exactly what I'm looking for.
I don't really want to replace field contents, I want to clear field contents.
I've figured out how to clear the field from the single record I'm on, but I want to be able to clear the radio button on all fields which have this specific field checked. Does this make sense?
Replace field contents will do exactly what you describe here. To clear a field, you can use an empty string: "", as the data you will use with Replace Field Contents to clear the field for all the records in your current found set.
That's it! Thanks so much.
