3 is indeed what will be stored ! Which is your problem ?
What gets stored in the cell of the table is all the radio buttons. I want to store only the checked number, for example, "3." Thank you.
I have a field with the following properties: control style "radio button"
Now duplicate that field and format it as a simple edit box... if you choose 3rd radio-button, you'll see 3 into the edit box. ( so confirming that 3 is the stored value for that field )
Great! Thank you. So now I have the value "3" or whatever radio button value I click in the text field. However, the text field value "3," for example, still does not store in the associated table's cell. What continues to be there are the radio buttons with "3" selected. I greatly appreciate any further help.
The "radio buttons with '3' selected" is not stored in any table. Instead, this is a format specified for that field on a given layout. If you enter layout mode and use the Inspector to change the field from "Radio buttons" to "Edit box" you will see only the entered value--not the radio button formatting.
