Reconnecting container field path references
I've got a Applescript which reads out the path reference of a container field and moves the actual graphic file to a new home. I then write back the new path reference to the same field that I grabbed the original path (which was created by the import mapping feature in Filemaker Pro 9 when the graphic file was ingested).
However, even though the path reference has been updated, the image does not re-appear in the container (I'm getting the message that the graphic can't be found).
Other than manually re-importing the graphic from its new location, is there any way via Applescript or calling a Filemaker command that I can force the container to look for the image in its new home?
The only way to change the file reference through conventional use is to reimport the graphic/path again. There is no way to set it.
