    Relating records within a table

      Relating records within a table

My question is whether it is possible to have a relationship among records within the same table?

I have a database for project management. One of the tables is for sites that take part in the project. Usually for each project there is only one primary site. However, that primary site may also have sites that do work. Can I relate records within the table or do I need two different tables? If the records can be related, how is it done?

                                                /---- Sec Site

Project ------ Prim Site ------ Sec Site

                                                \---  Sec Site

You can relate records to themselves, (you just make an extra table occurrence), but It looks to me like a related table of sites would be the better way to go.

          Project --------< Sites

You can display all the sites for a given project in a portal and use labels and sorting to identify the primary site and place it in the first row of the portal.
