What does 'minus the load from the Loads table' mean? Delete the record, or mark it as delivered?
Yes mark it as delivered Thanks
I probably don't understand your DB well enough to help you without some more info. Wouldn't you just have a checkbox where you can check Delivered, and an OnObjectModify script trigger would perform a script that would omit it from the found set of records?
Is it not possible to move the load from loads to join loads destination
Like Steve, I am scratching my head at exactly what you are trying to accomplish here. Your original post's naming conventions suggest these relationships:
Loads::__pkLoadID = Join_Load_Destination::_fkLoadID
Destination::__pkDestinationID = Join_Load_Destination::_fkDestinationID
Though your field names may be different.
For an explanation of the notation that I am using, see the first post of: Common Forum Relationship and Field Notations Explained
Is this what you have?
I think you want to show the current load for a given vehicle (Truck? Train? Ship? Barge?) But I don't really see a table where you'd track that information, such as vehicles table to be linked into the above tables with date and status based filtering to isolate the specific load values to be summed to show the current weight of a given vehicles load.
But I am making a lot of guesses here.
I created a layout page and the inserted a portal tool .....
think of it as my Loads field as my inventory....
so when I use one in the layout can I have it then be marked in the loads field that it was already used. and cant be used again...
