new to filemaker---would like to know if there are other examples describing how to make table relationships other than customers/jobs/invoices, etc....at this point, that is easy to see, but what of other entities that are not explicitly oriented to businesses?  I am developing a database for a photographer---my entitiies are: image, print(s), exhibition(s), gallerie(s), collector(s), sale(s), auction(s), etc...would keeping track of each print require a separate table from a "print" table? Or would that be a field within the print table?

      thanks.

I don't think you'd find that approach workable in FileMaker. Instead you'd have a prints table where each print is a different record in that table.
