Title

Remembering the current slide when exiting a layout

Post

     Greetings-

I am attempting to store the object name of the current slide in a slide control in a global variable; when the user navigates away from the layout. The purpose is to Go to Object[$$lastSlideName] upon re-entry into the layout.

I have tried to store the current active slide name with the following script:

     If[GetLayoutObjectAttribute("Slide 5"; "isFrontPanel")]

          Set Variable[$$slideFocus; Value: "Slide 5"]

     Else

          Set Variable[$$slideFocus; Value: 0]

     End If

I run this when there is an active object in "Slide 5" and it produces "Slide 5". It always produces "Slide 5" no matter what slide is in front. Am I using the wrong Get calculation perhaps? Feedback is greatly appreciated.
