Can the FileMaker Pro 10 Advanced machine see any hosted files on one of the Windows machines running FileMaker Pro 9?

I didn't try what you suggested TSGal, I did however get it to work.
For whatever reason, the local host was not appearing in the menu. If I typed in the address, fmnet:/xx.xx.xx.xx/filename it worked.
Why would the host not show up, but the connection still be there?
Filemaker 10 uses Bonjour, if its not installed remote databases will not show up as far as I can remember... I dont know if this is the answer, but perhaps this may have something to do with it, because your hosting with 9 which didnt use bonjour
