Title

Repetitive script routines

Post

Hi,

I have a script, that writes the values held in global fields to specific fields.

I have 6 possible 'stored fields' to write to depending if the field already contains a value or not, after each writing I have to perform some basic but identical tasks. Is there a command that I can use in a script so that I do not have to duplicate these common tasks each time, as they are 7 lines long.?

I was thinking of a command like    GOTO  (for a sequence at the end of the script) or     GOSUB /  RETURN      are these functions available.

Finally, as I switch to a layout, via a script command, I would like to have the global fields empty, and not showing previous data. Is there a clear or delete field command that I can use, for say field called Globals::X_part_num  ?

Many thanks

Marty
