Title

Replacing field content on a set of found records based on meeting a criteria

Post

I have a set of found records in which certain fields need to be updated based on whether they meet a criteria or not.

They are all "marked" for action by having the content of the DID Action field set to either "Remove from WP " or "Change Address".

In  records "marked" for "removal" I need to have 7 fields cleard out and one updated with the current date.

In records marked for "change address" I need to only clear the action field (now that it was actioned) and one field updated with the current date.

I tried using If Else function and  Set Field but that only works on one record at a time.

I tried using Replace Field Content but I don't know how to "tell it" the crieteria.

I hope you can help me here. Below is the sample of where I got to.

Thanks for your help,

Katarina

Replace Field Contents [No Dialog; DIDs_andTFs::Date Updated WP; Get (current Date)]

If [DIDs_andTFs::DID Action = "Remove from WP"]

     Set Field [DIDs_andTFs::Publish in WP; " "]

     Set Field [DIDs_andTFs::DID Action; " "]

Else

     Set Field [DIDs_andTFs::DID Action; " "]

End If
