When you add a new layout for an iOS device via the New Layout Wizard, in FM 13, FileMaker includes a script run from the OnLayoutEnter trigger that locks the zoom. I would guess that FM 14 does the same, but haven't yet checked. You can remove or disable this script or its trigger to keep the zoom from being locked. You can also run a script to unlock the zoom.
Thanks, added it as the last step in my look up script, and it works. Perhaps, I should have figured it out-looked in all the wrong places first. Do you know of anyway to disable that (one preset) in the basic new layout tool--I guess I could write my own script for creating a new layout just the way I want it. Wish I had more time.
Thanks, again, Happy Sunday, Dan
Well you don't have to select the Touch Device option for your new layout, you can use the computer option and then use a "touch" theme (if you want) with that new "computer" layout.
