Résumé Resume Template for FileMaker Pro Advanced 11?
Is there a Résumé (Resume) Template for FileMaker Pro 11? So frustrating, I've searched everywhere, even the Bento section and I'm def not a fan of Bento!
I'm just curious (sorry, I don't have an answer), but what do you want to store in this file? If it is lots of people's resumés, would the Personnel Records File not be a suitable starting point? (No idea what's in it, but I'm sure it has fields for qualifications, experince, etc.)
Oh heavens no, just trying to make a resume for myself without a darn word processor. There's tons for iphone apps but I can't find any for the MAC.
Do you mean that you don't have a word processor application, or you have one, but you don't want to use it? Why not download a free one? You could try Open Office: http://www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/source/sys_reqs_30.html
If all else fails, you could download a trial version of Word, and use their templates:
Like I said, just trying to avoid using a word processor like open office or pages or ms office. Looking for a program like FileMaker, where you just fill in the fields and whala!
Why use a database to do what a word processor does best?
Cause a database margins everything in magically.
So does a word processor and I can manipulate text and format with far greater flexibility than I can with FileMaker. It is noticeably better at managing page breaks should your resume be more than a page long.
