Return to record after find and replace?

      Post

HI all, I'm working on a script to take the user back to the original record after a find and replace..

What I have so far is attached. Currently it is going to the first record not the one I started the script step from.

I'll also attached the relationship I have set up.

      Any ideas?

      thank you

I would question what you are doing and why do you need to replace what looks like serial numbers.

Easiest may be (and I'm not sure if it works for you), would be to open a new window to do all the find/replace, then close the window, therefore you never change records on the current layout.  If that can't work for you then the first script step should be to set a variable ($id) of the current's record primary key, which looks like pkArtworkID.

After you're done with the find/replace.

            Enter find mode [ ] //uncheck pause

            Set field [pkArtworkID; value: $id

            Perform Find [ ]

            Show all records //if needed
