running a macro from FM pro in Excel

      Post

      Hi,

I have an issue with my excel sheets. I need data from 12 different excel workbooks.
That is not a big issue but all the workbooks are protected on workbook level, FM pro doesn't like that. But I
cannot shut it off. (or can you within FM pro?)

So I made an extra excel workbook with a macro in it that copies all the data from the protected workbooks.
From that workbook I can copy it into FM pro.

But now I am  looking for commandline which runs the macro in Excel from an FM-script.

      Is there any command for?

I don't know if this will work for you or not, but you might try Send Event and see if you can get it to work.

If not, what OS are your using, Mac or Windows? In Mac, you can probably come up with an Applescript that will do this and in Windows, you can use Send Event to run a batch file that opens your excel file and runs the Macro.
