You can probably devise a custom sort order that sorts these entries into a group or groups that fall at the end of your report.
ok - how do I do that. The main body of this report needs to show active inventory. The 2nd part lists inventory that is something othere than active.
I can't go into details without knowing more about your report and the tables and fields used in it.
How are you marking items as missing for your report?
You might be able to simply add another field to your sort order or you may need to define a calcluation field that returns a different value for "missing" items so that you can sort on it.
I have a category labeled "status". If it is active, it is blank, otherwise it indicates status as missing, stolen or scrap.
If you include the status field in your sort order, you'd get items in your report listed in this order:
You can still sort on other fields after listing this field first in the sort order.
