Saving custom templates to the Template Folder
I can see and use the new t3mplate that I added using FileMaker 12 on Windows Xp.
What version of FileMaker and on what operating system?
Using FileMaker 12 on Windows xp, I saved a copy of the Assets starter solution named AssetsII to one of the sub folders located in the templates folder.
When I then selected "new from starter solution", I saw AssetssII listed as an avialable template and I was able to open a copy of this new template file.
Thanks for commenting.
Actualy, I don't have a problem saving a custom template to a sub folder. I can do that. When I go to "New from Starter Solution..." I see an image for all the templates provided by FileMaker, but nothing for my template.
I would like to find a way to attach an image to my template.
FileMaker Pro 12 and Mac OS X Lion (version 10.7)
For example, in the image below
I see a picture with 4 rectangles (fields ?) one of which does not contain an image. That means what?
This looks very different in windows so I didn't recognize it. In fact, I don't recall seeing these images at all in windows xp though I see one image at a time with Windows 7.
While I can add the file and then can open it as a starter solution, I have not discovered how the graphic is associated with each template file.
Thank you for taking the time.
