Schedule stop / start of IWP
I was wondering if anyone could tell me a way to schedule a stop/start or restart of IWP. I am running his on Mac OS X 10.6.8 and it is FileMaker Server v10.
Is Filemaker Server running only One Database that is accessed through IWP?
Meaning do you want to quit FMPS? Or just have one of many databases closed?
It was common to have a simple database running called Timer to do only one thing, open and close a database on schedule.
There are several options, built into OSX is iCal that can trigger an Applescript to close a database or quit Filemaker Server
Scheduled Scripts in FMPShttp://help.filemaker.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6443/~/running-a-server-side-script-on-filemaker-server"To create a scheduled task for scripts, choose the Admin Console Schedules tab, select Create a Schedule from the Actions menu, and click Perform Action. The Schedule assistant starts and guides you through the rest of the process. Then, choose Run Script. Next, do one of the following:"

I actually want to leave the databases open, and leave FMPS open, but stop and start only IWP. Is that possible? I'll check out your links when on a computer. (On phone right now).
