      Post

      Hello All,

I have a field that when YES in selected it then creates a new record in a different layout, is there any way of showing the record that has been created only for a few seconds so as the operator can see that the record has bee created and after a few seconds automatically go to the previous layout from which the record was created.

      Regards

Just add the Pause/Resume script step to pause the script for the number of seconds that you specifiy in the script step. You can add this step just after your script creates the new record. If you use Allow user abort to keep the user from aborting the script, the pause will display a continue button in the status area, but no cancel button. If you do not use this option, the cancel option is also displayed, which might enable a quick acting user to halt the script on the layout where the record was created--which isn't something you'd likely want to see happen here.
