Script not working on imported records

I have recently started using Filemaker Pro 10. I have made some minor changes to the "Contact Management" template and imported my records. Everything works fine except for the script to "Add a Note:". On the imported records whenever I try to add a note, it instead opens the address tab. If I create a new record, the "Add a Note" button launches a note field just fine. I did not make any changes in that area of the template, only some additional phone and email fields in the Contact details. I appreciate any suggestions you may have.
