These functions normally work without problems. Are you sure you assigned the right script steps to the right button?
If so, please provide more details.
This is my first attempt at creating 'buttons' and I have used the 'OnObjectKeystroke' script trigger. I have also tried 'OnObject Modify' with the same result.
The allocated script is simply "Go to Record/Request/Page [Previous]" which, as far as I can ascertain from available documentation, is correct.
But is doesn't give the required result.
Don't use script triggers. Just assign the script step to the button.
Probably the script is triggered continuously and that's why it goes to the end or beginning of the list.
Ah! I see what you're getting at.
How do I just assign the script to the button?
I'm not too well up on FMP yet.
Thanks for your help.
It's OK Hb, I've found out how to do it.
Thanks again for your guidance.
