      Script or Button to Constrain Single Records from Found Set

      Post

           I would like to a way to selectively constrain single records from found set.  Is there a keystroke combination that I don't know about?  I would prefer not creating another variable as it is a temporary constrain for the purpose of creating a report without a few records.

           Thanks

               To omit a record from the found set, hold down command (mac)/ctrl (windows) and press T.

               If you want to isolate the current record in a found set of just that record (not sure how to read your original post), you can use one of the following scripted methods.

               DBs not shared amongst multiple users accessing database at same time:

               Show All Records
               Omit Records
               Show Omitted Only

               For hosted databases:

               Set Variable [$ID ; YourTable::PrimaryKeyField ]
               Enter Find Mode []
               Set Field [YourTable::primaryKeyField ; $ID ]
               Perform Find []
