Maybe the PDF should be inserted into a container field by your script so that other users can access the PDF via the container field. You did say that they wanted to share the PDF.
There is also a get function that will return the file path to the current user's documents folder. It will produce a valid file path to the current user's documents folder for both mac and windows operating systems. You can use that to help compute the path to which you want to save your PDF by setting this path and file name to a variable and then using the variable in your Save As PDF step. See the second link below for a demo file that illustrates the use of this function to compute a file path.
