      Script Step for Field Formatting

      Post

If criteria is met during an "IF" script step what kind of a step do I do next to perform a conditional formatting on a given field so that the fill color of the field turns red?

Conditional Formatting is applied directly to objects on your layout while you are in layout mode. Can you give a more detailed description of what you are trying to do?

Yes I can try to make it clearer.

I am performing a loop on a list of records.

The loop is trying to find a record(s) where field "A" is 'greater than' field "B" in numerical quantity

If the loop finds one or more of the field then I wanted the 'Fill' of that particular record "A" field to be turned red in color.

Then I will do a 'Sort' to have all red Fill fields sent to the top of the list.

            Does this help?

Well, you could simply set the conditional formatting of the field to turn red when A > B. That will work whether you run your script or not.

I would give the world if this post could be erased!!!!!!!!

I cannot believe what I was thinking.

                I really feel stupid.

Hope none of you get as wrapped up in stress as what I do.

                Thanks for the heads up.
